This is restating what should be obvious. Giving to National Republican Committees may end up supporting a (liberal) Democrat.
There has been a way of thinking that promoted the lesser of two evils choice in politics. This has not come from a Biblical understanding. The proposition, "Let us do evil that good may come," is justly condemned (Romans 3:8).
The Republican establishment has sought power and to keep it by emphasizing the evil policies of the government-expanding Democrats. But while their fund-raising appeals urge the necessity of defeating those liberal (Obama supporting) Democrats, and electing Republicans to restore our conservative values, money so raised has gone to Senator Arlen Specter, now Democrat from Pennsylvania, and Dede Scozzafava who has recently dropped out of the race for Congress in New York District 23 (election today) and has endorsed her Democratic (former, and still with regard to the ballot) "opponent" over Conservative Doug Hoffman.
What excuse do principled conservatives have left for giving to the national Republican Party committees? If you are or have been registered as a Republican, or given to the Republican Party, you have probably been subjected to such appeals in recent months. If another comes your way, I suggest you mention the names of Specter and Scozzafava. If you can't remember the names, remember the principle; you do not want to give your money to support candidates or principles that are opposed to your own (and America's) principles. You can let your own elected "representatives" know the same.
