This seems to be Father Norman Weslin ... I believe he is the Catholic Priest who will enter Notre Dame in witness for LIFE today with Norma McCorvey (Roe v. Wade) and Dr. Alan Keyes.
The sound quality is very poor, so it's hard to know exactly what is happening.
Dr. Keyes just finished his interview with Jesse Lee Peterson and is scheduled to enter the campus in about one (1) hour (at 12 noon ET.)

Great! The audio problems seem to be fixed and Dr. Keyes is speaking with Stan Solomon apparently in a hotel room or office of some sort. They'll be back just after the break.

The feed is off. The last picture I saw was a dozen brawny cops blocking Alan's path onto the campus.

FOXNews had breaking LIVE coverage of officers leading Alan Keyes away, cuffed with a rosary in his hands.
Officers were blockading others present, including photographers as they led Dr. Keyes away.
FOX says, "More after the break."

Next FOX footage was of the Catholic Priest on the ground (possibiliy on his knees,) hands cuffed behind his back and three (3) officers lying him onto his side on the ground.
Fox cut away and said there would be more on this later in the hour.

FoxNews' Griff Jenkins reported Alan Keyes led a group of about 50 marchers on to campus along with Father Weslin, an elder gentleman, and Randall Terry.
Those who did not leave were arrested. I believe they said about 20 people were arrested.
I believe they said the Father resisted arrest -- not wanting to leave. He was not strong enough and was taken away on a stretcher, lying on his side, hands cuffed behind his back
Jenkins reported there was no violence at the event.

They said wireless was lost at the time of the arrests, but they have it all on tape and will make it available when they return to the studio.
Randall Terry is speaking ... I guess he was not among those arrested.
Please pray for the safety of those in custody.

Just talked to Patrick Flynn, our AIP of Michigan chairman, who is on scene. A second priest went in as well. The first priest went limp when they arrested him, so they had to take him away on a stretcher. They've got it all on tape, which we'll be able to make available soon, along with some great still photos.

About Father Norman Weslin, the 78 year old priest:

Dr. Scarborough entered the campus with Alan Keyes. He is a friend of Alan Keyes. Scarborough determined he would not be arrested today, and left when the officers advised believing it the right of a Catholic University to ask a Baptist preacher to leave their property, if they so choose.

They've been streaming the whole arrest.
The seventy-eight year old priest, restrained and on his face, singing the Ave Maria, should affect the heart of anyone except those who have hardened their hearts beyond redemption.

A little white-haired sixty-something lady, just before being led off in cuffs, was asked, "Where are you from?" She said "South Bend, IN." I won't be able to be come back on the campus. That grieves me. But not as much as the babies dying."

Mr. Solomon explained Father Weslin had both his arms broken in a previous arrest in defense of LIFE. He cannot raise his arms to touch his head ... and yet they had him on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back.

SOUTH BEND — Conservative politician Alan Keyes and about 17 other people were arrested Friday as they walked onto the University of Notre Dame campus to protest Sunday’s commencement visit by [Alleged] President Barack Obama.
The group of protesters, who were praying the Rosary, were stopped by Notre Dame Security Police on a sidewalk about 100 yards onto campus.
The police officers warned the group that they were trespassing on private property and asked them to leave.
"You need to leave please or else you might be facing arrest," an officer said. "It's very important you understand the message this is private property."
Some of the protesters refused and, one by one, were placed in plastic handcuffs and led away.
"They have disobeyed the law of God for the sake of disobedience to the church and I call on all Christian people to come and bear witness against this betrayal of our faith," Keyes said.
Keyes, a Catholic politician and commentator, was the first arrested. He was arrested in a similar protest on campus last Friday, and he has announced he plans to return and be arrested again Saturday.
At least one Catholic priest was among those arrested today.
The group, citing Obama’s pro-choice stance on abortion and support for stem-cell research, was protesting Notre Dame’s decision to invite him as commencement speaker and give him an honorary degree.
For the full story, check back on this Web site later and read Saturday’s South Bend Tribune.

Pro-Lifers Nationwide Invited to Watch Peaceful Arrests at Notre Dame Live, via an Online Webcast
SOUTH BEND, Ind., May 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is being issued by Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue.
Following are sections of a letter sent by Randall Terry to tens of thousands of pro-lifers via email around the country.
Randall Terry stated in his letter:
"As crazy as it sounds, you can watch the prayerful procession, and possible arrest of Dr. Alan Keyes, Norma McCorvey and others at Notre Dame on Friday and Saturday at 12:00 Noon. The awesome live action film crew, Doug Sauer, ProduceNetTv.com, has decided to come and do a live WEBCAST of this resistance to evil at Notre Dame.
"So, you can click here to watch this historic moment live online. If this link is not working, go to http://www.teapartylive.tv/ for your back-up site.
"And in case you missed it; Norma McCorvey - the 'Jane Roe' of Roe vs. Wade - is arriving tomorrow in South Bend to stand against Notre Dame's treachery along with Alan Keyes and scores of others. If Notre Dame is foolish enough to arrest her, it will be the first time she was arrested in a pro-life event.
"I hope you will watch this historic moment; I beg for your prayers. Our friends begin broadcasting at 10:00 AM, and will go until early afternoon.
"The arrests - if Notre Dame is hardened in their path - will happen around noon. This is the glory of the Internet; even if some of the secular media does not cover a story, we can ignore their blackout, and see the truth." Randall Terry, Founder, Operation Rescue.

Fox News just reported about today's arrests, but they showed video of LAST WEEK's arrests.
I DVR'd it, so now we finally have video of Patrick's arrest of last week. Does anyone know how to get that to disk or YouTube? All I've ever been able to do is play it on the TV and record it with a digital video camera, and that's very poor quality.
Suggestions, please?

Thank you so much Christine.
By the way, the owner of the State Theatre, a young evangelical who is graciously allowing its use for this historic event has been struck by witness and has followed Dr. Keyes onto the campus and is now sitting in St. Joseph County Jail.
He is a brave committed young man. I am so proud of my new friend. I watched his heart being moved by the witness of God's love and the faith of the Body of Christ.
I believe this example of Christian unity may be unprecedented!

Recently I downloaded a digital internet tv and radio service with thousands (?) of radio and tv stations. It cost a one time fee of $30. Two premium downloads are available for $10 each for two years at a time.
I have barely had a chance to explore it, and I still have to tweak my firewall to access many features, but I have discovered this: on one of the premium downloads, you can obtain your own internet TV station. I don't know what kind of equipment you have to use, but I'll bet this could be used at Notre Dame.
I don't believe I could work it for you to use my system, because I can't navigate it yet myself, and I'm also trying to get out the door (Sat. morning) to go to ND. However, somebody might be able to take a look at it, play with it, and Voila!, we'll have a new method of broadcasting to the entire world that we control!
I wonder if Obama will ask that Notre Dame cover their Christian symbols before he speaks.

Psalm 37
A Psalm of David.
1 Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12 The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. 13 The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct. 15 Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.
16 A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous.
18 The LORD knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the LORD, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.
21 The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives. 22 For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off.
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
27 Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. 28 For the LORD loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever.
30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.
32 The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him. 33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
34 Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. 35 I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. 36 Yet he passed away,[a] and behold, he was no more; Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.
37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. 38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.
