Bob Heft, designer of the 50 Star American Flag, died unexpectedty today. He was in KY last week to tell his story of how he made the current 50 Star American Flag. The nation's banner will be 50 years in service next 4th of July. A photographic memorial can be viewed at Bill Johnson for Senate on FB soon. Bob was a unique individual, the type of man you rarely get to meet once in a lifetime.
