Politico 11/13/09 JONATHAN MARTIN Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich predicted disaster for his party if the conservative wing of the GOP continues to field independent candidates to the right of the party’s nominee. “If we get into a cycle where there are tea parties and there are conservative third-party candidates, we will make [Nancy] Pelosi speaker for life,” Gingrich told POLITICO in an interview Thursday, calling the practice “totally destructive.” But Gingrich, who broke with many fellow conservatives by getting behind the liberal Republican who was nominated but ultimately dropped out and backed the Democrat in a New York special congressional election, admitted that Dede Scozzafava was too far to the left to hold the GOP’s center-right coalition together. “That’s a mistake,” he said, referring to a candidacy such as Scozzafava’s. “But it’s equally clear that you can’t be a right-wing party and govern the country.” Gingrich recounted that he became speaker after the 1994 GOP sweep, thanks to a bloc of support from a moderate wing of the party that is now nearly extinct. Every day the scam that is the Republican Party is further revealed to honest, decent, patriotic Americans. It's been a false flag operation for quite a long time now. Considering the fact that the polling shows that there are more conservatives than liberals in ALL FIFTY STATES, and yet liberalism bears rule, it couldn't be anything else. I tell folks that AIP formed in 2008, quickly became the third-largest national party behind only the Democrats and Republicans, and that we're not satisfied with staying #3 for long.
The dominant parties have failed so miserably in leadership that many folks, including the sitting Governor of Texas, are discussing the right of states to secede from the union.
The Republicans and Democrats supported the massive financial "bailouts" before the 2008 elections. There was no left-wing vs right-wing split on this amongst the sitting President, the U.S. Congress, and the Democratic and Republican presidential nominees. They agreed that bailout was the only alternative to imminent economic disaster. That was a lie. A much better alternative has been part of AIP's platform since our beginning: abolish the federal income tax. And the economic boom that this would have created last fall (and it's not too late for that, by the way) isn't even the best thing about this proposal -- because the present tax system is destructive of our liberty in many ways.

Once again it seems Newt has the equation reversed. This while it is clear Democrats have leaned to the net-roots left to a structural fault. He sees no threat in the fact the RNC has bent over backwards to a dwindling faction of "moderates"(define that) to the exclusion of all others. Even worse, it hasn’t worked and won’t. When given the choice, people pick the Democrats with a D not an R. And conservatives were given no alternatives. Compare that to market forces at work where there is a huge demand for conservatives. But somehow all Party elites want to sell is Democrat socialism -- and all they want on the menu – and they have cornered that market. “But it’s equally clear that you can’t be a right-wing party and govern the country.” So lets not even try? Again he is using a faulty formula. People don’t want the country governed by a “right-wing party”. OR that is: by how and what media and leftists have defined Right-wing as -- with the help of a complicit Republican Party. But real conservative ideas and individual liberty are what people relate to. ‘So lets exclude that’, does that make any sense?
So-called moderates – we do need to define that term – actually thrive when the liberal left gains control, as it has. (is there any doubt the hard left is running the country, at all branches? ) At that time these moderates believe they are “the bomb” and can run just to the right of the hard left and call that Republican. The goal is to redefine left as right; or moderates as left. If they shift the entire definition then they are the new right, at least in their theory. So they have an advantage when the hard left is in control, it makes them appear Republican. Make no mistake about how much this about definition and perception.

The Republican Party and all of its bloated compromisers like Gingrich HANDED NANCY PELOSI THE SPEAKERSHIP ON A PLATTER! And for that matter handed the White House to the radical anti-American Marxist imposter.
How DARE he predict that conservatives will seal Pelosi's eternal reign.
Do you remember when he was Blabber of the House, and when the GOP held all of Congress and the White House? They squandered the treasure that was entrusted to their care while they fed their own egos and grew the Federal Government to match the size of their heads.
The snakes are warning us what will happen if we do not once again trust them to collect the eggs.

Cool Change There was a song years ago with the lyrics “time for a cool change”. In 08 elections many Americans were sold on the idea of change. The sales pitch was nonstop from Barack’s campaign. Instead of cool, the change we are receiving cranked up the heat even further. Some change? The frogs are jumping; but it wasn’t clear they had any place to run before AIP or a real third-party effort. They weren’t ready or sold on that kind of change before, believing instead that both Parties could enter rehab and lead a productive existence without external political or economic force. But that was a dream as most of us now recall. That notion seemed easier than the thought of starting from scratch.
The Declaration reminds us of this mindset “while evils are sufferable”. They realized even then, especially then, the proportionate force necessary toward evils: “and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” That proper relationship or response is so needed today. In the words of the DOI: “and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.” Despite what we hear about “change we can believe in”, the kind we would “believe in” is what constitutes real change – as opposed to the type of faux change they feel like giving us, and where they control all the variables. |

If any appendages of the two-legged beast survives,
they'll have God and the hard work of AIP to thank.
Same for dancing in the streets on Obama Exit Day. |
